SUAR BETANG is a journal aiming to publish literary studies research, either Indonesian, local, or foreign literature. The scope of SUAR BETANG includes linguistic, applied linguistic, interdisciplinary linguistic studies, theoretical literary studies, interdisciplinary literary studies, literature and identity politics, philology, and oral tradition. SUAR BETANG is published by Balai Bahasa Kalimantan Tengah, Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. SUAR BETANG accepts articles from authors of national or international institutions. Authors are free of charge throughout the whole process including article submission, review and editing process, and publication.
It was issued for the first time in 2006, ISSN: 1907-5650 (print) & ISSN 2686-4975 (online).
INFO UPDATE FEBRUARY 2022: To improve the quality of SUAR BETANG the board of editors has decided to make some changes since February 2022.
1. Revising the article template.
2. Publishing ONLY 10 articles per issue.
